Depuis septembre, ce sont une dizaine de militants qui s’activent à Clermont-Ferrand pour relancer la section.

A l’occasion des élections étudiants de la nouvelle Université Clermont-Auvergne (fusion entre Clermont 1 et Clermont 2), et des élections étudiantes du Conseil d’Administration du CROUS d’Auvergne, l’UNI présente des listes pour défendre à nouveau les étudiants auvergnats.
